Panel filters are flat, disposable air filters designed for use in commercial and industrial ventilation systems. They capture dust and other coarse airborne particles, helping to protect HVAC equipment and maintain airflow efficiency. Typically constructed with either synthetic or fibreglass media and set in a cardboard or metal frame, they are often used as a pre-filter in air handling units, ventilation systems, and spray booths.

Panel filters should be checked regularly and replaced as required—typically every one to three months. The replacement frequency depends on the application, operating conditions, and airborne particle levels. In areas with high dust loads or continuous system use, such as industrial workspaces.

Constructed from either synthetic or fibreglass filter media, panel filters are supported by a robust cardboard or galvanised steel frame.
